Christmas Eve's Eve Friends for Fondue

Tonight we hosted our annual "Fondue with Friends"

It's been a fond tradition for a few years for us wherever we've lived.  

This year we had fondue pots filled with oil, broth (NEW), cheese and chocolate to dip into.  

Both families brought "whatever they had on hand" to dip.  There are other things I'd have purchased for this, had I gotten to the store, but my flat tire, nixed that:(.   

Dippers:
shrimp, chicken, bacon, deer, beef, 
you could use an optional corn meal coating -- dip first in milk, then cornmeal, then into the oil
gnocchi, asparagus, potatoes, bread, pickles, 
pomegranites, apples, bananas, orange sections
marshmallows, pretzels, and cinnamon santas
